Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Bridge, Apple iPhoto, Apple Aperture, Windows Live Photo Gallery
Running into an issue with your photos not showing existing tags, ratings in Sort Shots? If so, then please refer to the below as some software needs a tweak to ensure the tags you created are added to your image.
The most common issue with photos not showing metadata is when users add photos ‘from library‘ i.e. the default photo app that came with your iPad. Third-party Developers are unable to access the sidecar data that is associated with your images as Apple does not allow this. Hopefully they will change this soon but until then, we are stuck. However, if you add photos via FTP or iTunes Folders the image and its sidecar data remain intact. Your keywords and ratings will remain with your images and appear in Sort Shots EXIF tags ready for sorting.
